Top 10 Best US Jobs | Despite an increase in coronavirus infections brought on by the omicron version, there are plenty of new job prospects in the U.S. labor market. Numerous top positions provide flexible work schedules and six-figure pay, according to recent data.
Tuesday saw the publication of Glassdoor’s 50 Best Jobs in America 2022 survey, which focused on employers with at least 100 wage reports and 2,000 job listings on its website as of December 2021. The top jobs on the list include those with lots of job opportunities, great job satisfaction, and high earning potential.

As demand for mental health services continues to climb despite the ongoing epidemic, psychiatrists (ranked #22) and psychologists (ranked #34) made the best occupations list for the first time. Though tech jobs dominate the list, claiming nine spots in the top 10.
According to Daniel Zhao, a senior economist and data scientist at Glassdoor, “Today, every company is a tech company.”
Because of how abrupt and unpredictably this crises’ developments have been, “the epidemic has particularly accentuated the usefulness of data; more businesses are turning to real-time data to understand what’s going on and make decisions.”
The top position on the list is enterprise architect, which involves directing the coordination and development of an organization’s IT systems. Full stack engineer and data scientist are the next two positions on the list. According to Zhao, these positions have high job satisfaction ratings because they are better suited for flexible work schedules, which is a perk that both employees and job seekers are looking for given the current pandemic.
